The event is a fishing tournament hosted by the San Antonio Pipeliners Association taking place September 26-27, 2025 at Robert’s Point Main Pavilion in Port Aransas, Texas. It features competitive fishing, a costume-themed “Boats & PO’s” Friday mixer inspired by Step Brothers, a weigh-in, trophy awards and raffle, all while networking with others in the midstream oil & gas community. Proceeds from the Saltwater Slam go to the Midstream America Scholarship Fund to support students pursuing degrees in math, science, and engineering.

The event takes place Friday, September 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM CDT at the Greater Houston Sports Club (6700 McHard Rd, Houston, TX). It features a Sporting Clay Tournament, followed by a mini live auction, dinner, live music, awards, and raffles to bring the oil and gas community together in support of Sky High’s mission to comfort, fund research, and save lives in the fight against childhood cancer.

The event will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM CDT at The Revaire in Houston, Texas. Attendees can expect an upscale brunch featuring a fashion show, live auction, and inspiring stories from local cancer warriors. The dress code is “Going Gold” to celebrate the event’s 10th anniversary, and complimentary valet parking is available.

The SAPA YPO Informational Mixer, hosted by the San Antonio Pipeliners Association, will be held on September 18, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Little Woodrow’s Stone Oak in San Antonio. It’s an opportunity for young professionals in the oil and gas industry to network, learn about SAPA’s Young Professionals Organization, and discover upcoming opportunities like mentorship, monthly mixers, and skill-building events. Attendees will get two drink tickets, shared appetizers will be provided, and students (21+) can attend for free.
